Jerramungup crash: Three people involved in serious car v truck collision on South Coast Highway near Albany

Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on South Coast Highway in Jerramungup, about two hours east of Albany. The incident unfolded on Thursday when a car and a truck collided on the highway, near Robs Road in the Great Southern shire of Jerramungup. Three people are understood to have been involved in the incident. A spokesperson for WA Police said crews from St Johns WA and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services remained on the scene, more than two hours after the incident was reported at 12.14pm. Part of South Coast Highway is closed with a detour between Brook Road and Rabbit Proof Fence Road in place. Drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution. More to come.
