Rockingham detectives appeal for public assistance after indecent assault of woman in her 20s
Detectives are calling for the public’s help after a woman in her 20s was indecently assaulted at a Waikiki bus stop.
The terrifying incident occurred on Wednesday, August 7 about 4.50pm.
A man in his 30s approached the woman while she was sitting at the 17254 bus stop on Read Street.
He engaged in a brief conversation with the victim before indecently assaulting her.
The man was described as approximately 170cm tall, of a medium build, with a dark complexion.
He was wearing black pants, black shoes, a hi-vis yellow jacket and a maroon hat.
CCTV or dashcam footage of Read Street and the surrounding area between 4.30pm and 5.30pm can be uploaded directly to investigators via this link.
