Man charged over ‘threatening’ act outside synagogue in St Ives, Sydney
A man who allegedly made a threatening gesture outside a synagogue in Sydney’s upper north shore has been charged with a stalking and intimidation offence.
Police were told a passenger inside a car allegedly made a gun gesture with his fingers at a man walking along Link Rd in St Ives about 12.30pm on January 4.
Police will allege the passenger then made the same gesture at a man as he left a place of worship as the car continued driving along the road.
It’s understood the second incident was outside a synagogue on Link Rd.
The second man reported the alleged incidents to police on January 4.
A 20-year-old man was arrested about 11pm Monday at a North Turramurra home.
He was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal).
The man was granted conditional bail and is set to front Hornsby Local Court on January 29.
