Warnbro actress Lucy Green continues to make an impact in Los Angeles, with the aspiring star releasing a new comedy web series based around the US presidential election.

Blow Your Own Trumpet has been created and written by the Rockingham actress, who stars in the amusing eight-part series as Chloe Anderson, an Australian determined to save the world from Donald Trump.

Green was profiled inThe Sound Magazine earlier this year and has gone from strength to strength in the US.

Blow Your Own Trumpet was inspired by the political climate Stateside and Green’s mantra of “not (being) the type to wait by the phone for that call from Spielberg”.

“I’ve never been a particularly political person, but living in LA, it’s almost impossible to not have a strong opinion,” she said.

“During my acting training, I was often told ‘ask yourself how you feel about the world and turn it into art.’

“That’s really what I’ve tried to do here.

“I often use humour to deal with my feelings anyway, so by making this show, I’ve decided to simply share my coping mechanism with the world.”

Blow Your Own Trumpet has been featured on the Whohaha website, owned by Hollywood star Elizabeth Banks.
