Actress appears in anti-bullying video

ARRAN MORTONSound Telegraph

Rockingham actress Krystina Tasker took another step closer to realising her Hollywood dream this month, when she appeared on pop-culture website BuzzFeed.

The 18-year-old said she was delighted to have the opportunity to share her experiences of online trolling in the two-minute anti-bullying video.

She said she was particularly pleased to be chosen — alongside two fellow US-based actors — because the website has been gaining momentum back home in Australia.

“The video was made for high school students experiencing cyber bullying in America, so having someone from another country speak also makes high school students aware that it happens all over the world, not just in America,” she said.

“I never really heard of BuzzFeed until doing this project for them, so it was a great opportunity to go into their offices in Hollywood.”

Tasker said the video received positive feedback from those affected by bullying.
