Carnival rides, face painting, a petting zoo, showbags, buskers and more than 100 stalls are just some of the attractions at this year's Baldivis Country Fair.

Baldivis Primary School parents, students and staff have been working hard to present their 38th annual fundraiser.

Parents and Citizens Association president Sam Yau said the event attracted more than 10,000 people last year.

"The Baldivis Country Fair is the only event of its kind in Baldivis," she said.

"It's our primary event of the year and, if it makes a profit, all the money goes back into the school to benefit the children's education, providing equipment the Government doesn't fund."

Mrs Yau said the school had developed a new partnership with Street Hassle Events to produce this year's fair.

"It's a community-driven event, which has previously been run by volunteers," she said.

"This year we have a partnership with Street Hassle Events, who have been teaching us how to run it better without working harder."

Gourmet food, colouring-in competitions and craft events will be available, as well as the school's two mechanical cows which allow children the chance to experience milking.

Street Hassle Events operations manager Lauren Barbera said the fair had something for everyone.

"We're really excited to be a part of the organisation for this event," she said.

"It's got a great feel to it and is something a little different to what we normally do."

The fair will be held from 10am to 4.30pm on November 1 on the corner of Fifty and Baldivis roads.
