Ball rewarded for big efforts

Kwinana Swimming Club president Tony Ball has been recognised for his service to the sport with Swimming WA’s Volunteer of the Year award.

Ball is a true community-minded individual, instrumental in the Hornets’ operations for more than a decade, but also within council and other community projects.

He also holds office with many organisations, including Swimming WA as its records officer and part of its planning committee.

He helps clubs around WA in setting up sound administration and implementing technology.

In his capacity as Kwinana Swimming Club’s president, he goes beyond what is expected and works tirelessly behind the scenes.
