This year’s Telstra Business Centre Belmont Regional Business Expo went off with a bang, with businesses coming together for networking and showcasing their offerings.

The event was held at Gary Holland Centre on Wednesday, November 23, with everyone from Murdoch University to Telstra making the most of the sun with outdoor exhibitions as well as stalls set up inside and a total of 85 participating businesses.

Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce chief executive Tony Solin said it had been a fantastic day with overwhelmingly positive feedback.

“It was a successful event, which gave local and regional businesses an opportunity to showcase their goods and services,” he said.

“We also had great support from event sponsors Telstra, NBN, Murdoch University, RSM and the City of Rockingham.”

The event was officially opened by City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels and Councillor Lee Downham, who also judged the best exhibitor award, which went to the Peel Thunder Football Club.

Businesses from across the region had the opportunity to networkamong themselves on the day and showcase to the general public, with next year’s expo already in the planning stages.
