Casual Cook shows support

Sporting a Gary Gray campaign T-shirt and jeans, it was a case of spot the odd man out for Roger Cook at Labor’s Brand campaign launch on Saturday.

Warnbro MLA Paul Papalia and Opposition leader Mark McGowan, flanked Mr Cook, with both men in a suit and tie for the launch, attended by former prime minister Bob Hawke.

Intrigued by Mr Cook’s casual attire, the Telegraph inquired if the Kwinana MLA did not receive the memo about the dress code.

“Mark’s got official duties,” Mr Cook quipped. “I don’t know what Paul’s excuse is!”
