Circus delves into our innermost fears
South Australia’s leading circus and physical theatre company, Gravity and Other Myths, brings one of its multi-award winning shows to the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre this weekend.
What are you afraid of? Falling? The dark? Men in speedos?
Freefall is a unique physical exploration of inner fears, human quirks and truths.
Gravity and Other Myths uses physical theatre to reveal the inner workings of seven young characters as they engage head-on with their own fears.
This show won the Best Circus awards at the Adelaide Fringe in 2010 and the Melbourne Fringe in 2011, where it was lauded for the precision and virtuosity of the performers.
Freefall is circus theatre like no other in Australia, beautifully constructed with sizzling skill and honest performances.
It will show at 2pm and 7.30pm on Saturday as part of the Immerse Season Program for 2013.
Tickets are available online at www.manpac.com.au or by calling the MPAC box office on 9550 3900.
