Circus Oz cranks it up a notch when it comes to town
Expect high-energy acrobatics, juggling, magic and exuberant clowning when Circus Oz 2013: Cranked Up rolls into Mandurah.
The new show propels the Circus Oz 2012 show, From the Ground Up, to new heights.
It is a production that has been honed, road-hardened, made tight and allowed to play hilariously fast and loose.
Be prepared for the irreverent Circus Oz spirit, revel in seeing the return of some of the company’s much loved characters and thrill at some daring new feats as Mark Sheppard steps into the shoes of roving indigenous provocateur destined to disrupt Circus Oz’s ongoing brand of ridiculous tomfoolery that leaves audiences howling for more.
Credited with revitalising a traditional art form in a uniquely Australian way, Circus Oz is a rock‘n’roll, animal-free circus that has influenced the development of circus arts around the world since its foundation in 1978.
This year it celebrates its 35th birthday.
Circus Oz 2013: Cranked Up will show at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre at 2pm and 7.30pm on Saturday.
Tickets cost $135 families (two adults and two children), $50 concessions, $55 adults, $48 FOMPAC members, $25 children under 12 and $30 people under 25 years/students.
