City find rhythm
Rockingham City produced a gutsy fightback to earn a 3-3 draw with Morley Windmills in Saturday’s State League Division 1 soccer fixture at Lark Hill.
Trailing 2-0 at half-time, City found their rhythm in the second half and looked destined to take all three points when Trevor Laurie scored twice and Papa Kpatar also found the net.
However, Morley converted a free-kick with 30 seconds left to earn a share of the spoils.
The result leaves Rockingham in seventh spot, three games adrift of competition leaders Ashfield.
They take on sixth-placed Gosnells this weekend.
