Club wraps up a big season

Saturday night was the Secret Harbour Surf Beach Boardriders annual general meeting and wrap-up of the 2016 season, with winners of each division named after a year of outstanding competition.

Club president Cam McColl opened and closed the meeting and will remain at the helm for the forthcoming 2017 season. He thanked all members and their families who helped to make the year a success.

“It is surfing that brings us together and it is this great club that brings our local surfing community together,” he said.

“A club is only as great as its membership and the people in it, and this club is full of great people.

“We also have the generous support of our sponsors who make it possible for us to have great prizes at every contest and at our award presentations.”

The Secret Harbour Surf Beach Boardriders is sponsored by Clearwater, Ocean and Earth, Moses Surf Australia, Whistling Kite, Secret Harbour Golf Club, Perth Wake Park, Big Wave Surf School, Chicken Treat, Alcoa and Happy Feet Fitness.
