Community singing group Nostalgia Incorporated will be performing a number of country hits in its latest show titled Take Me Home Country Roads.

The group will be performing on July 2 at the Autumn Centre from 1.30pm to 4pm.

Musical director Neil Jarvis said the group had been working on the show since April rehearsing two nights a week.

“We perform the hits as close to the original version as we can and we all enjoy music and singing,” he said.

Part of the proceeds from the concert will be donated back to the Autumn Centre.

“The Autumn Centre is a wonderful thing and there would be a lot of lonely people without it,” Mr Jarvis said.

The concert will feature a selection of country hits from the 50s to the 80s and classics from Jim Reeves, Olive Newton John, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Ray Charles.

Tickets will be on sale at the door for $8 with light refreshments served at interval.
