They joined young cricketers from around WA in testing their skills during the lunch break of the Third Test between Australia and India.

Participants are involved in a structured 6-12 week program, which provides them with the opportunity to develop cricket skills, physical fitness, social skills, sportsmanship and an understanding of the game of cricket.

Australian Test captain Michael Clarke is supporting the program.

‘‘They (the children) absolutely love practising their skills on the premier grounds in front of huge crowds,’’ he said.
