DJ Samrai set to keep punters up and dancing

Sydney’s DJ Samrai will bring his international experience to Mandurah for a special gig at Players Bar on Saturday.

Samrai cemented his name as one of Australia’s most exciting DJs after winning both the DMC and ITF National Championships.

He became one of the hottest festival DJs with his high-energy sets at a wide range of festivals, keeping more than 350,000 audience members on their feet.

He has shared the stage with renowned acts LMFAO, Ludacris, Kelis, Busta Rhymes, Duck Sauce, Nas, Damian Marley, Bloody Beetroots, Empire Of the Sun, Gym Class Heroes and old-school legends Naughty By Nature and Salt-n-Pepa, to name just a few.

Playing everything from hiphop and electro to pop and rock music, Samrai signed with Universal Music in 2003 as one of the DJs on the Blazin Mixtapes series.

He signed to major international dance label Ministry Of Sound in 2010 and has sold more than 50,000 copies of his release Maximum Bass Overdrive.

Samrai, who has supported Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Neyo, Rihanna and The Black Eyed Peas, also has a number of prestigious accolades to his name, including the Australian DMC Championships and the ITF Australian Scratch Championships.

Doors open at 10pm and entry costs $15.
