A 35 year old Warnbro man has been charged with multiple offences by police after an alleged hit-and-run in Warnbro last Friday.

Police allege that about 6.45pm on July 29, a Ford Festiva was travelling south on Warnbro Sound Avenue when the Festiva collided with a Honda motorcycle as it turned onto Okehampton Road.

The 48-year-old motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries from the collision and he was later conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital.

The 35-year-old driving the Festiva allegedly failed to stop and continued driving.

He was later charged with dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm, failing to stop, failing to provide assistance, failing to report the incident, driving an unlicensed vehicle and failing to give driver information.

He is set to appear in the Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on September 13.
