The Rockingham Rams bounced back from their first loss of the season by defeating the hapless Baldivis Brumbies by 128 points, 24.21 (165) to 5.7 (37).

The last time these two sides met back in Round 3 at Anniversary Park, Rockingham made light work of Baldivis. The finals score showed this was the case at the weekend, though the Brumbies provided a tightly contested first quarter when the Rams failed to take their chances.

But by half-time, the Brumbies might have been wishing that Aussie rules had a mercy rule, with Rockingham showing they are arguably the most dominant and skilful side in the competition, piling on 10 goals to one.

Full-forward Nic Gronenburg was the shining light up forward as he kicked seven goals for the visitors, while Mason Goldie, in his league debut for the club, showed why he had been given the call-up by senior coach Sean Wrigley.
