Force to be reckoned with

The 23rd Belmont and Western Australia Small Business Awards took place last month, with non-profit care services provider Volunteer Task Force claiming the best marketing award and being inducted into the hall of fame.

The event was addressed by Small Business Minister Michael McCormack at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre last month and was attended by a range of small businesses from throughout WA, including fashion designers and musicians.

“We are absolutely delighted to have received the Best Marketing Award,” VTF chief executive Kath Snell said.

“We are very lucky to have such a wonderful workforce, dedicated to supporting people in our community, and a creative in-house marketing team to help spread that message in a colourful, passionate way.

“To be inducted into the hall of fame was both unexpected and very special and we are relishing the recognition.”
