Gang Crime cops investigate attack

ELISIA SEEBERSound Telegraph

Police are continuing investigations into a violent assault, understood to be outlaw motorcycle gang-related, which left a 27-year-old man seriously injured in Port Kennedy last week.

It is believed the assault occurred late last Tuesday night in Port Kennedy’s industrial area on Paxton Way.

Police said the man then drove his vehicle to the BP Warnbro where he asked for help and emergency services.

The man received fractures and serious injuries, and was sent to Royal Perth Hospital.

A Stock to Shock Paint Work employee, who works next door to where the incident allegedly occurred, and wished to remain anonymous, said he was aware of outlaw motorcycle gang-related activity in the area.

“There are always plenty of bikies here, but you just get used to that,” he said.

“They have never been any trouble.”

Three men, who were found at the site, are assisting police with their inquiries.

The gang crime squad is continuing investigations.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activities in the two areas or has any information to assist with this investigation, is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
