Secret Harbour Surf Beach Boardriders held their sixth contest of the year on Sunday with more than 80 competitors in attendance.

The club reported the best conditions so far for 2016, with great one-metre waves and offshore conditions.

The grommets were on fire, with stand-out surfing by division winners Joshua O’Dwyer, April and Maiko McPherson and Ella Gibney.

The club thanked everyone involved in running the event and especially Evan Perry for manning the bacon and egg burgers all day.

The next round of competition will take place on October 23.
