Police arrested three men after they were caught driving an alleged stolen car in Rockingham yesterday.

The Sound Telegraph understands the vehicle was driven at high speeds down Dixon road before the offenders allegedly dumped the car in bush behind Crompton Road at about 12.45pm.

One man was arrested shortly after in nearby bush.

With assistance from the police helicopter, police apprehended a second man who was seen jumping fences in Hillman at about 2.15pm.

It is believed the man was bitten by a dog on his leg while jumping through the backyards.

Police say the third offender was arrested at about the same time, close by.

Police investigations are continuing.
