Hold-ups linked: police

Police believe two armed hold-ups in May at McDonald’s Warnbro and Baldivis Hungry Jacks are linked.

Police say that at 2.15am on Tuesday, May 17, two men entered the McDonald’s on Warnbro Sound Avenue through the drive-through window, threatened staffwith a knife and demanded cash.

They fled on foot with a quantity of cash and were last seen heading towards Halliburton Avenue.

About 9.50pm on Tuesday, May 31, two people threatened staff at the Hungry Jacks on Safety Bay Avenue in Baldivis before walking out with some cash.

The first was fair-skinned, with a slim build, about 170cm, and aged 16 to 20.

He wore a black hoodie and dark-coloured scarf or balaclava covering part of his face and carried a black backpack.

The second wore a white hoodie and light-coloured scarf covering his face, was about 170cm, fair-skinned, with a slim build and aged 16 to 20.
