Man charged after Centrelink fight

A 23-year-old man has been charged after a fight outside the Rockingham Centrelink where a man was stabbed in the neck.

WA police said the confrontation occurred at about 2.15pm on Tuesday outside the Civic Boulevard branch.

Security guards detained the 23-year-old man until police arrived.

The 33-year-old victim was taken to Rockingham Hospital for treatment.

A man has been charged with unlawful wounding, and is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on May 16.
