Man charged after serious crash

A 35-year-old Wannanup man has been charged after an Major Crash's investigation into a serious crash in Rockingham on Wednesday last week.

Major Crash investigated the incident, which occurred about 4.35pm on May 27.

Police alledge a Holden Rodeo utility travelling south on Ennis Avenue crashed into the back of a Nissan Patrol four-wheel-drive. This caused it to hit a Mazda utility, which hit a Nissan Navara utility, a police spokeswoman said.

The 23-year-old female driver of the Patrol was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Rodeo was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grevious bodily harm.

He was set to appear in the Rockingham Magistrate's Court yesterday.
