Be swept up in the spicy sultry rhythms and dancing of Mexico at a free event on Sunday afternoon.

Act-Belong-Commit Hot Shore Shuffle will present Viva Mexico from 1pm to 3pm at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.

Viva Mexico is Perth’s most authentic mariachi music ensemble.

At its core is the highly talented Marco Quiroz, a specialist Latin multi-instrumentalist from Chile.

His partner, Fabiola Giuffra, is a dynamic singer and percussionist of Latin-based music.

With an exciting line-up of percussion and brass musicians, Viva Mexico’s performance will create the true sound and vibe of mariachi festivities.

They will be joined by the Friends of Mexico Western Australia dancers who will showcase authentic demonstrations of Mexican dance culture.

Since migrating to Perth two decades ago, Marco has been prolific in creating a number of outstanding Latin American music groups such as Los Chasquis, LC Salsa, The Latin Gypsy Experiment and Rumba y Café.

From the old worlds to the new world, the Hot Shore Shuffle 2016 concert series showcases the diversity of high-quality music and dance from around the globe for the Mandurah community to enjoy.
