Prepare to laugh yourself silly when the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow hits Koorliny Arts Centre on May 29.

A cast of travelling comedians including local heroes and international stars will bring laughs aplenty in a jam-packed show, which is touring Australia.

MC Xavier Michelides will facilitate a hilarious line-up including Tommy Little, Nath Valvo, Dilruk Jayasinha and Sharul Channa.

Valvo wins over crowds with his razor-sharp stand-up focusing on his family, growing up in the 90s and his hatred of cats, among other gripes.

Jayasinha hit the comedy circuit after being fired by a major accounting firm, who figured out what he already knew — he had no interest in being a full-time accountant.

Consistently delighting Melbourne audiences, Jayasinha has been invited to perform all over the country and internationally with headline spots in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Singapore.

Since emigrating from Perth to Melbourne, Michelides has been an active stand-up comedian, writer and performer, while Little has been “smashing it at festivals around the country” since 2007.

From Hong Kong to Hobart and New Delhi to Newcastle, with more than 80 destinations in between, this festival promises to please comedy fans.
