Perth residents and visitors will soon be able to discover the Peel region on a new full-day tour.

Working in conjunction with RAC Travel, the new Peel Discovery Day Tour can be booked by RAC members at a discounted rate.

Mandurah and Peel Tourism Organisation chief executive Karen Priest said the new tour was a fantastic way to showcase the destination and would bring visitors to the region on a regular basis, creating additional business for local operators.

“It will increase awareness of our beautiful and diverse region that is so easily accessible from Perth,” she said.

“The full-day tour features Lake Clifton and the thrombolites, morning tea at Cape Bouvard Winery, Waroona with time to explore Drakesbrook Antiques, Pinjarra, including lunch at Redcliffe on the Murray, Edenvale Homestead and finishing at Serpentine Dam and the beautiful Cafe on the Dam.”

Explore Tours Perth managing director Adam Saunders said he was amazed by the impressive natural attractions and great places the Peel region had to offer within a short drive of Perth.

“We are always keen to show our customers authentic and new places that can be accessed in a short time from Perth,” he said

“The Peel region is ideal because our customers get to see a lot of different attractions on their tour and they don’t have to sit on the bus for hours.”

Tours will begin on June 15, with pick-up locations in north, south and central Perth.
