Police search for man believed to be armed

Mandurah detectives are searching for 36-year-old Bobby Punevski and warned people not to approach him because it is believed he is armed with a gun.

Police want to speak to Mr Punevski following an incident in Lakelands on Sunday, October 5.

At around 1.30pm, two Greenfields men aged 22 and 24 years of age, returned to their car parked on a track at the end of Stock Road near the intersection of Mandjoogoordap Drive in Lakelands, after riding their off road bikes.

When they got to their vehicle they were approached by two men, one armed with a firearm.

The offender with the firearm demanded that they hand over their bikes and the victims complied.

Mr Punevski is described as being 175cms tall, of slim build with fair skin and ruddy complexion, brown eyes and a shaved head.

Mr Punevski is known to frequent the Warwick and Koondoola areas and is believed to be in possession of a firearm.

Members of the public should not approach him but call police immediately on 131 444.
