Real men to industriously work stage
Ladies, get ready — the boys from Hard Bodies are coming to Bar Indigo on Saturday night.
Prepare for a night of fun, laughter and hot guys.
Hard Bodies manager Vic Perrin said the show would incorporate music, dance and stripping in a performance like no other.
“Our show includes a lot of audience interaction,” he said.
“All of the guys are photo friendly, and the audience will have a chance to have their pictures taken with one of them after the show.
“We are not like other shows — our guys don’t just sit backstage when they are done.
“They mingle with the crowd and are there to watch each other perform. We really all work together as a team.”
Seven guys will perform on the night in a show that will include two dance sets from a professional busker.
Perrin said most of his performers incorporated their careers into their acts, including a fireman and construction worker.
He said it added authenticity.
“Chicks are sick of seeing 18 and 19-year-olds bouncing around on the stage,” he said.
“All our performers are 25 to 35 years old — they are men, not boys. It’s a show that is for 18 to 80-year-olds, everyone will get a laugh.”
Perrin, a former stripper, said he would resist the urge to perform again with his team.
“Once you hit your late 30s you are past your used-by date,” he laughed.
Entertainment starts at 8pm.
Tickets are $15, or $20 at the door.
