Reverend ready to open church doors

The Free Reformed Church Baldivis is opening its doors to the community for an open day this Saturday.

The church now has its own premises after forming six years and Reverend Stephen ‘t Hart could not be happier.

“We’ve worshipped in many different buildings as a church and spent a great deal of time at Tranby College when we started in 2007 with only 140 members, today we have 270 members and they are all active in the church,” he said.

There will be activities and the community is invited to the free family event which takes place from 10am.

A free sausage sizzle will be available and plenty of fun for the children including a bouncy castle and an animal farm.

Reverend Hart said the church was glad it had a permanent base and hoped to be more involved in the community.
