Rockingham made the long Journey to face Quinns Football Club on a day where the conditions made it very tough to play football, but Rockingham still managed to score to win 4-0.

Rockingham created a couple early chances for Roy Hissey and Shane Boyle but were unable to convert.

Conditions were very difficult with the wind and rain making it hard to play the style of football suited to Rockingham, so only a few chances were created. Hissey went close again with 10 minutes to go in the half, but the keeper did well to save.

Cyril Sharrock saved well from a rare chance from the Quinns attack.

Rockingham knew they had to change it up in the second half and it didn't take long for Shane Boyle to continue his purple patch of form, scoring from some neat play with 50 minutes gone on the clock.

The next goal for Rockingham came five minutes after, through Alex Grayson, to make it 2-0.

With about 15 minutes to play David Clark made it 3-0, when a shot spilled to the feet of Clark who blasted it in to give the Quinns keeper no chance of saving.

Close to full-time Papa Kpatar went on his customary run and crossed in for Grayson to head home his second of the match and fourth for Rockingham, to take the three points home and keep their one-point lead at the top of the Sate League second division with six games to go.

It was a very disciplined game from all players. with Rockingham keeping their fourth clean sheet in a row.

Rockingham City Reserves battled well in wintry conditions but were unlucky to lose 1-0 against a big, strong and physical Quinns reserves team

It was not the best of performance from the Rockingham City 18s in their 1-0 win over Quinns, but goal machine Mitch Morrin kept his impressive scoring run going
