Search uncovers drugs and weapons

A Baldivis duo will face court on drug and weapons charges after a search at a Baldivis address uncovered a range of items.

Kwinana Senior Sergeant Stephen Thompson said officers were acting on information when they conducted the Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant on Sunday, May 31.

Sen. Sgt Thompson said police uncovered a quantity of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, a substance believed to be methamphetamine, and a number of weapons, including a sword, machete, BB gun, and an electro shock device.

As a result, police charged a 25-year-old woman with possession of drugs and possession of weapons and a 27-year-old mn with possession of weapons.

The two will be summonsed to court at a later date.

Other items recovered at the property are subject to police inquiries.
