Singleton man apprehended after stabbing
An 18-year-old Singleton man will appear in court today after allegedly stabbing another man in Halls Head at the weekend.
Police raided a Singleton address yesterday and found a large knife concealed in a bin before taking the alleged offender into custody.
An altercation on Daydream Plaza on July 23 between two groups resulted in a 19-year-old suffering a stab wound to the abdomen and a large laceration to his face.
A fracas broke out after the accused reportedly damaged vehicles by throwing rocks.
The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries and underwent emergency surgery.
The man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and being armed in a way that may cause fear.
