Three armed robberies in Leda

Regional Investigations Unit detectives are reminding businesses to be mindful of their security after three armed robbery incidents in Leda in the past four days.

Police say two dark-skinned males approached a service station in Leda about 6:15pm on Saturday.

It is alleged one of the men entered the store armed with a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes.

Police further allege two dark skinned males approached a service station in Leda about 9:45am Sunday.

Police say one of the males, who is believed was armed with a knife, approached a staff member and demanded cash.

Police say the third incident happened about 9:30am this morning when a man entered a store in Leda and engaged in conversation with a staff member before producing a knife and demanding cash.

A second person was seen to be nearby and was seen leaving the area with the first offender.

It is believed the same two men are responsible for all three offences.

Both men are believed to be aged in their late teens to early twenties.
