Tony is ready to cook up a storm

ELISIA SEEBERSound Telegraph

A natural flair for whipping up simple flavoursome dishes has landed Rockingham mother Toni Haddock the chance to upgrade her career.

Mrs Haddock will fly to Melbourne on March 3 to take part in the HOSTPLUS’ Cook For Your Career, a national competition providing people with the opportunity to become a professional chef.

She will cook off against NSW’s Rod Parbery at the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival for an apprenticeship with top chefs at Perth’s Print Hall.

Mrs Haddock said she was looking for a way to further her career in hospitality when she entered the competition online.
