Six people from the Rockingham area have been arrested on weapons and related charges after a targeted operation conducted by the Peel District Crime Team.

Police said the operation was conducted over a number of days up to March 8.

A number of searchers were carried out and police will allege they uncovered big quantities of drugs, weapons and stolen property.

As a result of the operation, a 33-year-old man of no fixed address has been refused bail and a 25- yearold Waikiki man is facing 12 charges.

He is scheduled to appear at Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on April 26.

A 29-year-old Safety Bay woman, a 36-year-old Port Kennedy woman and a 56-year-old Rockingham woman have all been summonsed to appear at Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on a date yet to be determined.

A 29-year-old Cooloongup man was bailed to appear at Rockingham Magistrate’s Court on April 29 and a 34-year-old Cooloongup woman is scheduled to appear in the same court on May 4.
