Youth program officer Nigel Morrison said youths auctioned skateboards they had designed as part of the Sketch Urban Art program.

“The program helps promote to the young people that you can make a profitable business out of urban art,” he said.

Mayor Carol Adams said the facility was a space that nurtured the talents of local youth, highlighted individual strengths and encouraged everyone to strive for their goals.

“If you have not been to the Zone Youth Space before I encourage you to have a look — this space is a great community asset and is well used by the youth of the City,” she said.
