Zodiacs power ahead

Maranatha Zodiacs proved too strong for Tranby Tornados in the weekend’s Rockingham and Districts Netball Association junior match at the Mike Barnett Sports Complex.

In a replay of last season’s grand final, Tranby started strongly but were unable to stick with Zodiacs, who emerged comfortable 46-20 winners.

Injuries took their toll on Tranby, who were forced to take the court with a player missing in the third quarter. Kyra Bromfield was best-on-court for Zodiacs.
