Brothers seek members for slot car enthusiasts’ group

A pair of slot car enthusiasts have started a new group and have put out a call for members.

Philip Bradshaw, from Warnbro, and his brother have created a 4m x 5m track at his brother’s Mandurah home and started Mandurah Raceway as a way to reconnect with the hobby they enjoyed in their youth.

The not-for-profit group will race on a 1/32 scale, four-lane track with computer timing. Loan cars and controllers are available at no cost for interested members without their own equipment.

The group will practise on Tuesday nights and race on Fridays.

Anyone aged 18 and over is welcome to join.
