Two primary schools in the Rockingham catchment have been granted $30,000 apiece from the Federal Government to implement digital technology.

Baldivis Gardens Primary School and Endeavour Education Support Centre in Port Kennedy have been selected to participate in the Turnbull Government’s Digital Literacy School Grants Program.

WA Senator Michaelia Cash said the money would be put to good use and help students with digital learning. “This is about making sure our students get the support and skills they need for the future,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how these projects help both schools build the digital skills of their students and sparks an interest in broader important fields like science, technology, engineering and mathematics.”

Senator Cash said $4 million had been allocated to the program across Australia to help teachers and students embrace the digital age.
