MALA classes now available to all ages

Rockingham and Kwinana residents looking to expand their knowledge regardless of their age, are able to register for upcoming courses through the Mature Adult Learning Association.

The group provides opportunities for mature people to learn in a social environment, with the aim of keeping attendees’ minds active and busy.

MALA previously was only available to those over the age of 50, but after numerous requests the age limit has now been removed.

This year’s courses include philosophy, science, women in history, crochet and family history.

The group is having an enrolment day on February 28, with classes beginning March 14.

MALA is run by volunteers, with people interested in helping also welcome.
