Entries open for prestigious art show celebrating Australian landscape

Entries are open for a prestigious art show celebrating the Australian landscape though painting and sculpture.
The Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group has announced entries are open for the 2025 Ludlow Art Prize, with artists from across the State encouraged to showcase their work.
Now in its third year, the Art Prize looks to celebrate and honour creativity in two artistic mediums — Australian landscape painting and sculpture, with a cash prize pool of $11,000.
The event’s committee said this year promised to be an outstanding showcase of artistic talent, providing a platform for emerging and established artists to gain State-wide recognition.
The theme is Australian landscapes and artists are invited to explore the subject in their own unique and creative style.
“Landscapes can be real or imagined, but must have a focus on natural Australian scenery in keeping with the Ludlow Tuart Forest Restoration Group’s cause,” the committee said.
Sculptors have an open theme and will have an opportunity to have their art displayed in the grounds of the historic old mill settlement in the heart of the Ludlow Tuart Forest.
Entries are open until October 10, with the winners announced at the exhibition’s opening night on October 24.
The exhibition will run from October 25 to November 2.
