Rockingham welcomes back Great Moscow Circus with several sold out shows
After a long hiatus thanks to COVID-19, the Great Moscow Circus has been welcomed back to Rockingham with open arms.
Almost all of its shows have sold out and organisers have had to add three shows before the big top packs up and heads south to Busselton.
Assistant creative director Tahlia Weber said this round of shows had received “a lot of good reviews” and people had come back to watch the show a second time.
The new show which has been wow-ing audiences boasts not only a ‘globe of death’ but a ‘wheel of death’ too.
Tour marketing manager Mark Edgley said the new show cranked the ‘extreme’ dial all the way up.
“It’s extreme and it brings the ‘wow’ factor to audiences,” he said.
“One of the biggest attributes this time around is the BMX riders; these guys are talented freaks and defy gravity.”
The death-defying show also features aerialists, clowns, motorbike and BMX stunts and cage riders.
The Great Moscow Circus is on at Dixon Reserve until August 21. For details or tickets, visit its official website.
