Draw and reserves win puts Sharks on top

Rockingham Sharks travelled to South Perth on Saturday for the clash of the two top NRLWA senior clubs.

The Sharks led 26-0 in the first 25 minutes, but Souths came back to make it 26-16 by halftime.

The game ended in a 32-32 draw. The reserves won 24-22 to go to the top of the table which makes the Sharks top equal in the first and reserve grades.

The third grade went down 32-22 to maintain third position while the under-18 team lost, with their State players sidelined for the national carnival.

In the Ladies League, top side Souths went down 6-0 to the Sharks.
