Durack serious crash: 10yo girl flown to Perth Children’s Hospital after rollover on Great Northern Highway

A 10-year-old girl was flown to Perth with serious injuries after a crash in the remote Kimberley. Police say the crash happened in Durack, between Halls Creek and Kununurra, about 8.25am on Monday. A white Toyota Prado station wagon was travelling north on the Great Northern Highway towards Kununurra when the vehicle left the left the road and travelled into bushland before rolling, police say. A 10-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the vehicle, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Perth Children’s Hospital for medical treatment. The female driver and two other adult passengers were not injured.
