Hornets lack sting in Round 4

The Hillman Hornets' A-grade side's round 4 game against South Mandurah was washed out at Peelwood Turf.

B-grade went down in a close game with Secret Harbour at Tangdee Hard Wicket. Hillman bowled first with Craig Boyd continuing his form with three wickets.

In reply, Hillman fell just short of the 190 total. Luke Carter batted superbly for 56, even after being viciously hit in the groin.

D-grade didn't have the best of days against South Mandurah at Living Waters Hard Wicket. After being sent into bat Hillman were all out for 86. In reply South Mandurah got the job done with Steve Page taking three wickets in his 100th game for Hillman.

In the top of the table clash E-grade had a good, tough win, getting over the line by nine runs to the Secret Harbour Dockers.

F-grade went down to Shoalwater at Shoalwater Oval.
