South Metropolitan MLC Phil Edman has entered a guilty plea for a drink-driving charge in a letter to the Rockingham Magistrate’s Court.

The Liberal backbencher was stopped by police close to his Rockingham home on April 30 and blew a blood alcohol reading exceeding 0.08g.

He did not appear in person at the courthouse this morning and instead submitted the guilty plea by letter.
