Top line-up ready for winery concert

Sound Telegraph

There will be more great live music at Peel Estate Winery on Sunday, February 7, when popular local duo The Littlest Fox take to the stage, followed by The Vibrolators, featuring special guest vocalist Peta Lee. *

The Littlest Fox's earthy acoustic tones and enchanting harmonies bring to life stories of Australia. *

Fairbridge Folk Festival event co-ordinators have described the duo as being "rising stars of the local indie-folk-pop scene" and they have been credited for their absorbing vocal harmonies and storytelling. *

Embracing their heritage, Ashlea Reale and Jenny Gaunt have brought to life forgotten tales of shipwrecks, bushrangers, prison breaks and homegrown heroes. *

With a handful of instruments under their belts, including cello, biscuit tin banjo and cajon, the duo always give a passionate, intimate performance, with endearing stage banter to leave you feeling like old friends. *

The Vibrolators are back, this time with a special appearance by the wonderful Lee. *

The Vibrolators first appeared on the national touring circuit in 1997, and throughout the past two decades, the band have taken their quirky 1950s-flavoured Blues and RnB to all corners of the country. *

Lee is WA's premier exponent of the raw rhythm and blues vocal styles pioneered by many female singers in the 1940s and 50s. *

If names like Big Mama Thornton, Ruth Brown, Big Maybelle and Sugar Pie De Santo are familiar, then The Vibrolators featuring Miss Peta Lee are sure to put on a show you will want to see. *

Entry is just $10 for adults from 1pm and supervised children under 12 can get in free. *

Bring a chair and relax in the beautiful shady grounds while listening to a fantastic line-up of great musicians. *
