Perth weather: Heavy rainfall to drench city most days this week

Perth is in for a lot of wet weather with showers expected most days this week.

For the rest of Monday, it is forecast to be partly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower late this afternoon and into the evening.

The rain is increasing on Tuesday with the wet weather expected to hit in the evening with up to 30mm set to fall.

There is also a chance of a thunderstorm with possible damaging winds of up to 45km/h.

The rain will continue into Wednesday morning but is due to ease by the afternoon, however the rain picks back up on Thursday.

There will be a reprieve from the wet weather in time for the weekend with only a slight chance of showers on Friday and Saturday before more showers are expected on Sunday.
